GUILFORD COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION AND REVIEW

NOTICE OF MEETING

The Guilford County Board of Equalization and Review has scheduled a regular meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 9:00 AM to consider a set agenda for appeals of real property tax value, late applications for exemptions & deferments for real property.

By convening, the Board of Equalization & Review opens the statutory period during which county taxpayers may appeal their values for Guilford County real and personal property.  Individuals wishing to appeal to the Board of Equalization & Review, should contact the Guilford County Tax Office for information and scheduling. The Board of E & R schedules hearing appointments for each appeal.  Owners and representatives will be contacted in advance of the meeting location and time of the appointment.  The 2024 Board of Equalization & Review will continue to hear all appeals presented to the Board prior to the December 19, 2024 adjournment.
