NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to N.C. General Statute 158-7.1, notice is hereby given that the Guilford County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 5:30 P.M. on July 13, 2023, in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room located on the Second Floor of the Old County Courthouse, 301 W. Market Street, Greensboro, North Carolina.

The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public input on the proposed allocation of funds for the following Economic Development Incentive Grant to: Project Sage, in the amount of $712,820.  The company is considering a location at the Piedmont Triad International Airport in addition to other options within the United States for a projected investment of $55,700,000 and the creation of 280 new jobs. The company is also requesting state and other local incentives before making a location decision. The local approval of incentives does not commit the company to locate in North Carolina.
